Many foods which we considered good for our children health due to lack of awareness but in real it is not healthy. Children often like foods that are sugary or sweet. The sensitivity in their taste buds increased manifolds so they dislike foods that have less sugar. In addition, some of these foods can be harmful to the child’s health. Here we give you some list of food which is harmful for children and must be avoided.

1. Juice

Juices available in markets or packed juices are rich with sugar. Mostly children love to drink these juices due to their attractive packaged or bright colours. As it is in a liquid form, so sugar is immediately absorbed into the blood stream.

Instead of consuming fruit through juice, the Pediatrics recommends that children must eat raw fruit, as it contains fibers which helps the sugar to absorb slower.

2. Yogurt

Yogurt is very healthy and enriched with calcium, but there are many unhealthy variations out there. Now a days flavoured yogurts are available in the markets which are attractive but unhealthy in real. As it contains chemical to store long in fridge it increase the incidence of obesity and diabetes in children.

3. Cereal

Cereal always seems like the easiest option for breakfast for working mommies. While some cereals look like they are healthy, they actually are so processed and contain a ridiculous amount of sugar.

4. Honey

6. Multivitamins

7. Milkshakes

We always considered milkshakes are healthier than soda because of the milk, but this is not the case. They are actually loaded with fat and sugar. Recent studies indicate that drinking just one milkshake may increase your risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.
